March 18, 2020, 7:26 PM

many of us are feeling disconnected during this uncertain time.  some of us are questioning "where is God in all this?"  How are you feeling?

Thank you for sharing Erica. It's good to hear Vin got his stitches out. Everything else seems like a challenge right now. But there is hope. As we find ourselves limited to social distancing maybe we are experiencing a new and wonderful opportunity for spiritual unity. It sounds like you are using this time of uncertainty to bring your family closer together. Be reminded however that even the cheerleader needs cheers for them. I continue to pray for you and your family during your days in the desert, knowing that this too shall pass. How wonderful it will be when our community is whole again...and we will be whole again. HOPE. bLESS YOU ALL.

Vin had his stitches taken out and has 4 more weeks of no driving (and no guitar ☹️). My kids: Natalie is working from home in Boston, Julian’s ice cream shop in Cleveland has closed so he’s applying for unemployment and volunteering with a food pantry. Gianna was sent home from college and is doing remote learning. I have been “home schooling” the younger 5 kids, but for us that means reading, logic puzzles, hikes, computer games, and art projects. We’re having a special delivery today and I’ll post a picture tomorrow if one of the kids will show me how to do that! I’m cooking, baking, playing guitar (sorry, Vin!), and trying to be the cheerleader in a household of glass-half-empty people. I keep reminding them that this time can be viewed as a gift! Let’s take advantage of our 40 days in the desert. ❤️
